Application

    Test system for Packer (downhole tools) is a simulation test system under high temperature and high pressure with horizontal type design,that is mainly used to do simulation test for the packer in the actual high temperature and high pressure environment. To achieve real-time control and detection of the current pressure, temperature and other parameters while the packer inside the wellbore.

   It has the function for seat sealing,sealing performance,leakage and other tests according to the requirements of API 11D1 V0 standards.The whole system includes oil pressure system, gas pressure system, heating device, force loading device, monitoring device and computer control system, which can easily switch between gas pressure test and oil pressure test. Test casing specifications available for 4-1/2 ", 5 ", 5-1/2 ", 7 ", 9-5/8 ", the maximum length of the test tool is 4500mm.

System Concept 

    The Test System for Downhole Tools-Packer mainly consists of gas pressure system,oil pressure system,pressure control unit, heating device, simulated wellbore and protection device, force loading device and computer control system.

    Gas pressure system to provide high pressure air source for sealing performance test of upper and lower cavities, including low pressure air system, nitrogen generator device, medium pressure nitrogen system and high pressure nitrogen system.

    Oil pressure system to provide high pressure oil for packer tests to achieve a high pressure environment for test pieces.

    Pressure control unit to provide individual outputs with gas or liquid medium for testing.

    Simulation wellbore and heating system to load the test pieces in a simulated high-temperature and high-pressure environment.

    The force loading device uses the hydraulic oil to drive the cylinder to output the loading force, and the double acting cylinder can realize the tension or compression, so as to achieve the setting and unsealing function of the packer casing.Using closed-loop control, the test loading can be set. When there is a force on the cylinder during the test, the set value needs to be adjusted automatically to keep unchanged.During the test, the loading function of the packer casing can be realized by different connection methods.

    The automation control system with mature software program to achieve automatically control and testing, all the test Settings and operations can be completed on the automatic console, the computer automatically generates the pressure, time curve, real-time display, and store various data, and print the English test report at any time.
