Subsurface Safety Valve (SCSSV) Function Test System

Application

The Subsurface safety valve (SCSSV) comprehensive function test equipment is designed according to API Spec 14A standard ,to do validation test and function test for SCSSV, including the gas flow test,liquid flow test,open pressure test, hydraulic pressure test, strength test, leak test and temperature control test, etc.

Technical Parameters

1) Gas flow test

• Test medium: compressed air;

• Test pressure: 2000~2500 PSI;

• Pressure measure accuracy: 0.5%FS.;

• Pressure control accuracy: 1%FS;

• Flow rate: 1000 Nm3/min for 5-1/2"SCSSV.

2) Liquid flow test

• Test medium:water and mud;

• Water flow rate:50~2800 m3/d;

• Mud flow rate:79~935 m3/d;

• Test pressure: less than 6.4Mpa;

• Pressure measure accuracy: 0.5%FS;

• Pressure control accuracy: 1%FS.

3) Leakage test

• Test medium: N2,methane and water;

• Test pressure: 0~210Mpa (N2),2.8Mpa (methane),210Mpa (water);

• Pressure measure accuracy: 0.5%FS;

• Pressure control accuracy: 1%FS;

• Tested liquid range: 0~10L/min;

• Tested gas range: 0~200L/min.

4) Temperature control test

• Test medium:N2;

• Ambient temperature: -10℃~350℃  (adjustable);

• Test pressure: 0~140 Mpa.

5) Combined Loads Operational Test

• Loads: Max.500T;

• Loading stroke:0.5m;

• Pressure transmitter accuracy: 0.2%FS;

• The system is self-balanced and the loading force is internal.

Function and Features

The whole test process can be set in the centralized control room and  automatically controlled by the computer, or the whole test process can be completed through the PC control system and pressure system at site;

All-round monitoring of the test at site, whole process video recording, data compression storage;

The whole test system is designed in strict accordance with API Spec 14A "Specification for Subsurface Safety Valve Equipment ", and all technical specifications have reached the international leading level.
