Application for HP BOP Test Unit

1.Application

The HP BOP Test Unit is kind of skid design system that consists of two sections,Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) and High-pressure BOP Test Unit.

The Hydraulic Power Unit (HPU) is the hydraulic pressure test system equipped with electrical plunger pump and pressure switch for pump automatic start/stop under low pressure and high pressure when reached the setting values,and adjust the output pressure via the hydraulic regulators.

The High-pressure BOP Test Unit takes compressed air as power source, and takes the pneumatic pump as the pressure source; the compressed air and output pressure is in direct ratio. Through the adjustment of the compressed air can freely adjust the output pressure.

When air pressure and output pressure reach to a balance,pneumatic pumps will stop working automatically, and output pressure will be kept at the pre-adjusted level, if a pressure drop happened because of leakage, the pneumatic pump will restart working automatically to compensate the pressure. By controlling the air input of the compressed air can fulfill the control of the pumps working frequency, thus to control the system's output pressure.

 The test unit is applicable for Hydrostatic and burst tests on such as hoses (assembly), API Valves, BOP, pressure vessels, petroleum tools, wellhead devices etc. 


2.HPU Features

1) Electric pump start-stop automatically controlled by pressure switches;

2) With high pressure electrical protection circuit function;

3) Push buttons & accompanying #ON# indicator lamps for #START/STOP# operation of items;

4) All pipeline through out in stainless steel material;

5) Multiple parts are provided with safety relief valves to prevent over-pressure;

6) Equipped with oil return filter to prevent medium particle pollution;

7) Equipped with independent pressure relief valve for the system;

8) Two-stage pressure regulation makes pressure regulation more accurate;

9) Accumulator with separate isolation valve for optional use;

10) Advanced control principle with SIEMENS PLC to guarantee accurate pressure control,perfect pressure holding,and real-time automatic pressurization.

11) PC with mature software for pressure-time curve generation automatically,data acquisition,saving and exporting through Office for further analysis.

12)  With automatic alarm functions,indicator lighting and emergency stop buttons in case of failures,faults,emergency,etc to stop the testing manually.

4.High-pressure BOP Test Unit Features
