How to test the LPG Cylinders for Hydraulic Testing and Cycling Testing

1. Hydraulic Pressure Burst Test

1.1 The cylinder actual safety coefficient is 3.0, that is the actual pressure shall be not less than 3 times of the nominal working pressure, not less than 6.3 Mpa.


1.2 It is in accordance with the standard of GB/T 15385.The device could automatically gather the data and record the pressure,inflow and time, real time display the curve of pressure-time,and pressure-inflow.

 

1.3 Evenly deformation before blasting, the volumetric deformation rate when blasting (the ratio of volumetric expansion and water inside the cylinders) should not less than the provisions in Table #1.

1.4 There are no pieces when blasting.The blasting will not happen on the seat welding line,sealing surface (except for the small volume cylinders),vertical welding line,began in the circumferential welded (except for the vertical circumferential welded) and fusion line of the vertical welding line.

 

2. Cycling Test

 

The provisions of the cycling test is according to GB/T 9252. Connect three tested cylinders with the test bench,use water as the test medium, Max. test pressure is 3.2Mpa. Min.test pressure is 0.3 Mpa, the frequency not over 15 times/min,there are no leakage after tested for 12000 times.
