The test stands are designed to carry out hydrostatic/proof pressure test and air/gas pressure testing of various types and sizes of safety valves, such as seat tightness, set pressure, leakage testing and etc.
But how to operate the pressure test & leakage test for Safety Valve? We believe most people are doubts and interested in that.Now let us take a look below.
Please set the equipment on dedicated workshop or test room, and make sure the proper workshop air supply, gas supply, water/oil supply, power supply and necessary handling tools are provided. Meanwhile, at least 0.6m space shall be provided around the testing machines.
PS: The equipment should be installed indoor environment, and the dust, direct strong sun-light shall be avoided if possible.
Preparations before Test
(1) Close all the valves on the control panel, and keep the drive air at 0;
(2) Connect the workshop air, gas supply and power supply of test system, and open the air and gas supply; (Note: the workshop air shall be no more than 10bar.);
(3) Get ready for the specimen;
(4) Check the workshop air and gas supply pipelines, and Make sure all pressure pipelines have been well connected;
(5) Make sure the sockets, cables are properly connected, and turn on the power, and then open the test software;
(6) Make sure the N2 gas supply is enough and well connected to gas booster system;
(7) Turn on the power supply and Logon the testing software, and turn on the lights;

2 | Clamping PSV
| - Press on ‘Hydraulic motor pump power on/off’ - Choose proper clamping pressure as per ‘PSV setting pressure-hydraulic clamping pressure sheet’ attached in the panel left side. - Operate rotary button to shrink/ expand, clamp/loosen. Notes: Above operation is for flange type PSV only; threading type PSV can be installed in the clamping system directly with suitable fitting. Pls check ‘‘PSV setting pressure-hydraulic clamping pressure sheet’ before clamping. Motor pump will be used for clamping pressure ≤40bar, additional air driven liquid pump will be used for clamping pressure >40bar (operate regulator ‘hydraulic pump drive air’ to adjust the output pressure).
